“ Conditions in Wildwood Crest? ”

Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone faired well during Irene. I would appreciate if anyone could tell me what's going on in Wildwood Crest. We had to postphone a trip to the Crest from today and possibly go later. We want to leave as early as tomorrow, but don't what to expect. Is there any major devastation or damage to the hotels, beaches or streets that I should know about? We will be staying at the Lotus Inn. Can't find any info anywhere to go by.

Wildwood Crest survived Irene, and the hotels are reopening soon (although some have already opened). The beaches and streets are fine as well, and no damage (to my knowledge) whatsoever. As for the Lotus Inn, though, I'm not sure if it'll reopen or not.

Thanks for your response @ Hotelsguest10,

My daughter and friends are actually in Wilwood Crest right now. They arrived on Monday afternoon and were able to get a booking at El Coronado which was fully operational, apparently Lotus Inn was not able to reopen . Glad that they took the chance and went ahead regardless of storm becauce the weather is now gorgeous and Moreys parks reopened as promised on Tuesday. So everythings fine, thanks again :)
