I've only tried it a few times. I can say I did have a $25 and $50 hit with a very small bet. I was hoping to have people on this site give a try and report back. I am suggesting just try it on $5. Try different machines and let everyone know what machines had the best results.

this is all about machine selection, as you must find one that initiates the bonus by a scatter, and not on a pay line. You are sacrificing winning on the line bets for the bonus win.

This strategy can work, a friend of my plays 3 lines on big benny jungle slot (not the correct name) because the bonus initiates not on a pay line.

I will give a try in April, great way to get some free drinks as well.

We won more on scatter bonuses than on lines (but I usually only played one - five lines). cough cough..low roller...cough cough.

Our best ones were Goldfish...the ones where you can start at only one line and one bet (with options to go higher), and Wizard of Oz (same thing...1/1 minimum). They seemed to have the most bonus games for us.
