Lansing Forum: Hotel Near Spartan Stadium

Thanks Moms the Kellogg Center looks real nice - but I think we are looking for something less fancy - just to avoid driving home after the concert. Do you know any other close hotels to Spartan Stadium, i.e., Red Roof Inn, Quality Inn, etc.

The two that come to mind are the Marriott in downtown East Lansing or the hotel that used to be a Residence Inn on Grand River Ave near Hagadorn Road. I'll see if I can find out which one it is but this location is a LONG walk from Spartan Stadium. It is ok if the weather is good but not so great if the weather is bad. The hotels that are walking distance from the stadium are also the most expensive because of their proximity to all of the campus activities.

Have you taken a look at the CATA bus schedule? I suggest that you look at the Hampton Inn on Lake Lansing Road and take CATA bus Route 25 from the stadium right to the Meijer store that is located next to the hotel. This may be your most economical option. Please check the bus schedule to make sure it will be operating at the time you need to return to your hotel.
