We'll be visiting Perdido Key in mid-July and usually bring our canopy along when we go to the beach. Are we allowed to leave it up on the beach overnight (we always lower the top) or are there any particular rules about having these there? I know there have been a few issues in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area. Thanks!
We have been to PK several times and have always left our 10x10 canopy up for the whole trip. GS/OB have rules about leaving things up overnight but not PK unless it has changed in the last year.

We just returned from there and yes many canopies were left on the beach overnight.

Just thought I'd follow up. We stayed in Perdido Key this past week at the Beach and Yacht Club. We left our canopy out the whole week with no problems.
We were told by the very nice young man who mans the rental chairs/umbrellas that we had to keep the canopy back behind those (home owner association rules), and that was no problem at all. It was a great week and it was great to leave our things out on the beach and not haul things back and forth every day.
We have some beach chairs that we love. Very comfortable we have had these for a number of years. We use them just twice a year when we come to the AL area.
We left these out on the beach. In PK for the entire week we were there. No one bothered them for the entire time. Very nice that you can do this with no worry.
