Going in April and lots of questions:)

I was wondering if you could tell me if the Quality Inn on International ,a Rosen property is a good choice for hotel. My husband and I are in our 40's and we went to Disney last year. This year we are on a budget and want to do the 2 universal parks, bg,sw, ww.and aquatica with flex tickets. We were going to discovery cove and universal parks but I think we get more things to do this way. We are going for two weeks so hopefully have lots of time. What are the adult rides and shows that are a must see at these parks.Did rides at Disney but kind of worried about roller coasters lol. Do we need the express card for universal? Thanks:)

sorry can't help with the hotel , I have never stayed there but for the express pass it really depends on when you are going .

I have been to the univeral parks & walked on the rides & heard a lot of people complaining they had bought the passes in advance & didn't need them.

I have also been when there is a 2hr queue for the popular rides

Normally the price they are charging for a pass is an indicator of how busy they expect it to be

I've used the QII every May since '07, and again this May. :-) It's a good budget hotel that has been refurbed in the last 2 years. It's in a good location at the I-Drive/Sand Lake junction with Trolley/Lynx stops right outside on I-Drive. Although it's not a luxury hotel it is generally clean & comfy. There is free WiFi but noticed last year that it does go slow at times, but that is probably due to sheer volume of users. I always ask for a courtyard room as this keeps you away from the parking lot/road noise. The hotel is AFAIK the only one on I-Drive with a perimeter fence with security at the only two entrances, makes it feel safer than other hotels in the area (not that I feel unsafe even when I travel solo).

the quality inn is in a great location and like bluesbro says you will feel very secure and safe and the rooms are nice, however its by a very very busy junction and the area around whilst you will be very safe is what id class as "tacky" why not go further south down IDrive and stay at the Quality Inn sister hotel - the rosen inn at pointe orlando which noramally works out at about the same price the rooms are very similar security and staff is great its got 3 lovely pools and is in a much quieter area with massive amounts of places to eat and things to do well with in walking distance

@ farin1806,if driving it is free parking at Rosen Inn at Pointe,if not there are free Hotel shuttles to Universal and IoA with good time slots to and fro. Lynx 8 will take you to SW and AQ , the stop is pretty much in front of Hotel. And lovely Pointe Orlando shops across the road and Wonderworks, mini golf too :)
