Orlando Forum: Spring Break Dates

Spring Break is not one particular week--each school district (and there are hundreds within each state) decides their own dates. That should be a period of quite a few, but not totally unmanageable. Easter week (after) is always the 2nd busiest at Disney, after Christmas.

We used to go the last weekend in Feb thru first week of March, the CM said it starts the next weekend that we were lucky.

Anyone know if you can purchase/upgrade to Fast pass tickets and how much it might be for Universal. I have already pre-purchased my "normal" tickets with floridatix.com

The Express pass can be purchased directly from Universal Orlando, I would purchase via their website, www.universalorlando.com, if you can because they only sell a limited number each day at the gate...Express passes are limited in number overall.

We made the mistake of going to Universal last Spring break, it was heaving, but we don't get to parks at opening time ( I am on holiday!!!) so our own fault really.

We did try going later on one afternoon about 4pm - big mistake seemed like all the teenagers who don't get up until noon had the same idea lol.

So my advice is get up and get out!!!!
