Fort Lauderdale Forum: Fort Lauderdale to Miami airport -transportation advice need

We arrive in a cruise to FTLauderdale and are going to Kissimmee while our aunt (52) returns to MIA to catch a 11p flight. March 31.

As desembarkation time is early at 8a we thought we could sightsee for the day in Ft Lauderdale, and drop her off someplace so that she can have a shuttle to the airport where she should be at 8p comfortably.

I need advice on what to do (Promenade sightseeing?) and where to catch a shuttle (costs aprox?).
