We want to stay in Occidental for one night and the Negri Occidental Hotel looks like it's in our budget but the Valley Ford Hotel looks very luxurious.
Does anyone have any real info on the Negri Hotel (after all, we'll only be there 1 night and would be happy with clean, quite and comfortable) - the reviews on Trip Advisor are either great or terrible which isn't helping!!
Just a tip, here, Beatrice. The reviews are written by the same people who read these forums and, thus, will probably answer your question. If you want different reviews, you should post someplace else like Yahoo; lonely planet. Chuck...
I have no experience in staying at either. However I remember the Negri as looking pretty rustic.
The AAA Guide book lists the Inn at Occidental and the Occidental Lodge, with the former much more expensive than the latter. You might want to look at them.
