 25th Anniversary Celebration -November 2007

I am trying to plan a fun 25th Anniversary celebration in Occidental, or somewhere nearby. I am trying to find a beautiful setting where music is allowed that could accomodate 50-75 guests? Any suggestions?

for Sonoma

I believe that your group would be too large for an event at the Inn at Occidental (www.innatoccidental.com), a lovely vintage property just up the hill from d/t Occidental--but contact them and they may be able to refer you to other places. Another venue that comes to mind as a possibility is the French Garden restaurant (www.frenchgardenrestaurant.com) loc'd about 20 min. from Occidental in the town of Sebastopol. They have a beautiful wood stage and a spacious dining area, and offer live music some evenings, so I know that they are licensed for that. We have dined there and have been very happy with their cuisine and service, and the ambiance is stylish w/o being stuffy. Depending upon when in Nov. it's scheduled for, you may encounter a fair amount of rain in Western Sonoma County, so it's definitely best to have a covered outdoor area or indoors for your anniversary event.

Thank you for your reply-- I will check out the suggestions you provided. I already checked out the Occidental Inn and yes our party is too large.
