“ Cost of Eating and Drinking in Paro ”

I am a recruiter based in the UK and will be sending an Aircraft Engineer to work in Paro for approx 5 months. I am trying to find out if there are any tourist restaurants in Paro and the average cost of food and drink? I would be grateful for any information?

First of all you can try to contact the restaurants mentioned on TA, secondly, you can contact a few tour operators, who can give you information about their contacts. Thirdly I think both Drukair and the Airport Authority can try to help you too. Wish the Engeneer success in his work, and a nice stay.

To name few of the restaurant who serves to tourist are Travelers Restaurant, Charo Dhoro, Samden Norzin in Paro. These are located in the town but if they want to go out from the town they can choose the tourist hotels and Farm house. The average cost would be Nu. 300 - 400 Per Head per meal and they serve on buffet system when they have many tourist.
