Hello,
We have a flight coming in at Brisbane Aiport 0:40 late at night.
It looks as if all car rental companies are closed around that time. Any suggestions?
Thank you.

Where are you travelling to from Brisbane airport?
Flying in from Bangkok with Emirates and staying at Palazzo Versace.

OR,stay at a cheaper hotel near the airport for that night.
Edited: 10 November 2010, 7:42Just wondering how good your concentration skills are going to be after a 10 hour flight, working your way through customs and then jumping into a car you haven't driven before in a country that you may not be familiar with for an hour long drive. Perhaps a transfer service would be more prudent.
Oscar
just checked with a friend who drove past Palazzo the other week, they do offer transfers indeed.

Edited: 10 November 2010, 19:48It may work out cheaper to stay at the Novotel at the airport or some of the other accommodation near it and then get the rental car in the morning.
And agree with Oscar, have a rest, and then head off the next day to the Gold Coast. I Imagine a transfer at that time of the morning at least 1.00am by the time through customs etc, could be very expensive.
email palazzo and see how much a transfer would be.
Hi!
We have the same problem for February next year. We haven't reserved any hotel near taking into account also that before reaching hotel it will be the morning allready. So we are thinking the best solution will be to stay at the airport and "rest" there till morning. What do you think, is idea OK or does anybody have some other good proposal?
Thank you.
IMO I'd stay at a hotel near the airport, see airport accommodation

and organise a car from your accommodation.
