“ Day trip from Brussels ”

Hi,

My boyfriend and I planning on taking a day trip from Brussels either the 27th or 28th of December... What are the top things you would recommend doing for such a short trip? Any recommendations are appreciated!

Antwerp is indeed the best choice. But you could also consider Mechelen, Leuven, Lier, and Gent. Others would say that Brugge is the only possible choice, but Antwerp is so nice and so close.
