“ Area for hotel/apartment ”

Hi,

I've found what looks like a decently priced deal for a pretty hotel/apartment in Amsterdam Oud-West on Bosboom Toussaintstraat. From what I can gather, it seems like a decent and accessible area...just want to double check my impression regarding that.

I also came upon a place on Buiten Bantammerstraat. The apartment also looks nice, from what I see online.

Would you strongly prefer one area over the other for a few days' visit in the city? We are two single women and one child, if that makes a difference.

Both very good locations. maybe the Buiten Bantammstraat is nicer as its on a canal but only bexause of that.

The other one is close to the Vondel Park if you fancy a stroll and also to the main museums. Otherwise just pick which apartment you like.
