Venice Forum: Train Venice to Rome

Thank you, I want to travel on 19th May, so should I wait a bit longer before panicking and booking a flight instead. I really prefer to travel via train but not at 3.00am.

If you look at 18 February (which is also a Saturday), you will see that there are one or two trains every hour from Venice to Rome. It will be the same in May when Trenitalia gets around to putting the schedules online.

Just curious; why do you think the train schedule stops after May 6? I've been looking to buy a mini fare for a date in late May from Venice. The schedule was being posted four months out, and then stopped with no dates beyond May 6.

My family will be in Italy in March and I was looking to buy round trip train Rome to Venice. The times and fares finally loaded in December and I purchased four round trip Mini fares for a total of $248.00 Euros. Without the Mini fare it was over $500.00 Euros. My suggestion would be patient and as soon as they load check the fares.

Nobody on TA knows why there are no train schedules beyond 6 May.
