Here's one of my absolute favourite trip reports ever (not one of mine, alas) I love that we were in Venice at the same time, and were even staying in the same hotel! (but didn't know it till after) This is also April 09.
No only is the report itself wonderful, but there is a link to H's beautiful photo's.

I am just planning my trip to Venice and was wondering whether somebody could give me good tips and then I find all this!!
I will go through all reports and will get back to you if I need more info. What I need at least for this trip is a fancy hotel, good reastaurants and cosy places to go for coffee and drinks.
