The Pinacoteca is closed for works but you can you can see some paintings etc at Palazzo della Ragione in Upper Bergamo.

I'm glad you're able to see the paintings in Australia because the Gallery is closed at the moment.

When you visit The church Santa Maria Maggiore in Upper Bergamo don't miss the choir stalls and the intarsia of the iconostasis, which illustrate Biblical stories. They are usually covered by other wooden panels with simpler intarsias in order to protect them so you must ask the custodian to show you them and give you all the details about the works etc. They are beautiful and with a good explanation you'll be able to appreciate all the details.

Also the confessional by Andrea Fantoni is very nice. Then there's the funeral monument of the musician Doninzetti.
