Emilia-Romagna Forum: Parco Delta del Po?

I've read its official site and sevaral blog peices about the Parco Delta del Po and it sounds like a great place to explore. I'd like to see the (seasonal) flamingos and to bike the levees. Maybe kayak as well. I have the web info, but that is no substitute for an eye witness. If you have actually been there I'd love to  read your remarks about the experience, the food and where you stayed. Thanks.
