Nobody can say. It is impossible to forecast weather in Europe more than a few days ahead.

It is probably the least unpredictable period of the year. You may find both 20 C° at noon and -2 C° at midnight, summer-like sunny days and awful showers.

We went last year to Rome at the end of March. We are from a cold climate so it felt warm to us. Umbrella: it rained twice but I am too hot to wear my raincoat. I wore short sleeve tee shirts, jeans, and my cardigan over it.

I was in Rome mid to late March last year. Experienced a mixture of weather, cloud, rain & sun. As the others have said March is a unpredictable month. Hope you enjoy your stay.
