Rome Forum: suggestions for take out places near piazza Navona

There's a take-out place called RosticceRi on Corso del Rinascimento. But any supermarket has a deli section with food for take-out. Restaurants don't do take-out as a rule.

if your apartment is equipped with a kitchen you could also have a chance for a catering at home...

There is or was a restaurant called Domitizano just up a tiny street leading to the Senate building from P Navona. There is a bar at the piazza end and a restaurant at the other end. The stream of locals coming in for take away pizza seemed never ending. We ate in the restaurant but those wood fired pizzas looked and smelled divine. Thin crust of course. I can't recall whether they also had other dishes for take away.
