Greetings, I'm helping my father plan a trip to Italy and I wasn't sure how far in advance they are accepting requests for the Scavi Tour? Any help would be great.

Interested in Rome?
We'll send you updates with the latest deals, reviews and articles for Rome each week.
Some one reported getting their reservations for October already. There is no harm in sending in a request now.

I purchased mine January 2012 for a tour June 29,2012.
I also booked mine already for Oct 2012. With the limited number of english tours and the great reviews I was concerned about getting the day and time I wanted. I had confirmation very quickly. Now its one less thing to think about before I get there.
A few weeks ago, a friend of mine booked her English speaking tour for the end of March. From the first e-mail she sent to the confirmation e-mail acknowledging payment, date and time, it was about 1 1/2 days. Very quick.
As usual, tripadvisor users come through. Thank you to everyone.
Hi,
Very helpful thread but can somebody tell me When booking the tour do i request a certain time or will they give me a time?
thanks for your help!
They'll give you a time. List the number of tickets you'd like, language of the tour, and dates (in order of preference). I guess you could request a time frame, but I'm not sure if they look at that. But on your confirmation e-mail, you'll be given a date and time for the tour.
Thanks for the reply, i fly into rome on a saturday until tuesday morning when we leave venice so monday is the only day i could really do so ill try for that date :)
one more thing how do i go about payment, do i put my credit card details in the email or do i pay when i get there?
thanks again
You must email, fax, or phone in your credit card information to complete your reservation. You must do this within 3 days of receiving your confirmation email. These instructions will be in the email. We just booked our tour for March 7th and I'm very excited!
Thanks for the reply! have sent the email requesting the tour
thanks again
