“ Kassel and Fritzlar ”

I'll be flying into Frankfurt on Monday, and leaving on Friday, but I'm not sure what to do in between. My sister is staying in Fritzlar during this time, so I'd like to visit her, but it seems like the closest I can get by train is to Kassel. Is there anything to do in Kassel, and is there any way to get from Kassel to Fritzlar? Also is there anything else to do in this region? Thanks!

I believe that you can get a train from Kassel to fritzlar. I took a train to Fritzlar once to get to a small village near by to trace some family history. .Have you looked at bahn.de I plugged the info in and gave me many trains and travel time options based on the local or express train.
