“ Night life and interesting outings in Kassel ”

Dear friends,

I am travelling alone on the 8th of April to Kassel for 10days.

I couldnt find any information on clubs, cafes, and wine bars.

Whoever is been to Kassel or is living there, I would like to learn more about night life in Kassel. and wether it is safe walking in the streets of Kassel on my own? (I am 27 year old guy, 6 foot tall)

I would like to get together with any groups of tourists or residence who will be there in this period to make more friends as I love making friends in every country I visit.

Apart from the "documenta" art exhibition every five years Kassel is no big tourist destination.

As far as bars & cafes, you'll find several on Friedrich-Ebert Strasse heading away from downtown. There are also a few on Treppenstrasse in the middle of town.

I wouldn't be concerned about walking alone anywhere near the city center.
