“ What part of town to stay in....Documenta ”

I'll be going to Kassel in early September to see Documenta...any hotel, B & B recommendations, and in what part of town should I stay in. How many days in Kassel do you suggest

Kassel is not big and there is good public transport, so staying in city center isn't necessary.

I'm going to stay at the "Roter Kater, Graue Katze", because it is cheap and got quite good reviews.

Take a look on www.hrs.de (only available hotels are shown and the website is reliable, use ist very often)

To enjoy the documenta, I would recommend two full days (there are 2-day-passes for 27 Euro)
