 Searching for August Tiator

I am coming to Pforzheim in May and June of this year and would like to see if there are any living relatives of August Tiator. August Tiator was born and raised in Pforzheim around the late 1880's. He immigrated to the United States about 1889. He lived in Brooklyn, New York. He was by trade a Barber and married a Katherine Hoffmeister (or Hofmeister) who was born in the United States of German Immigrants. He had 4 children, one boy August Tiator, and three daughters, Matilda Katherine, Margaret and another whose name I do not know. Matilda Katherine Tiator Paetz was my grandmother and has long ago passed away. Since her father passed away when she was 10 she did not know much about him except that he was a Barber and came from Pforzheim Germany.

Any help as to where I should start my search would be of a great deal of help.

Thank you.

for Stuttgart, Baden-Wurttemberg

The genealogy website of the Mormon church is probably a good place to begin. Also google for the phonebook of Pforzheim and you will find 20 entries for Tiartor who you could contact.
