Hmmm! First problem is OP lists three different links while titling the post "High Crosses". Only one photo (the second) pictures crosses so I assume this is the one she is referring to. When I pull it up, it does not tell me where it is (as quiggers states).
trin says the crosses are tombstones, probably not more than 100 years old.
box gives a site to High Crosses in Ireland.
quiggers gives info about The National Museum exhibition.
All good info (I really like the link by box) but no one answers the OPs question.
I have no idea where this picture was taken. However, we need to clarify a couple things. I am no expert but I believe these are not High Crosses but in fact are CELTIC Crosses. Celtic crosses are everywhere in Ireland!! They are, as trin says tombstones and are not "old" compared to High Crosses. box gives a great site to locate High Crosses throughout Ireland--very useful.
I believe most, but not all, High Crosses are Celtic crosses but certainly the opposite is not true.
When we first got to Ireland we went crazy taking pictures of Celtic Crosses but soon realized there were too many to keep that up. lol
So Gal, I can't tell you where that picture was taken but I can assure you that you will have ample opportunies to take pictures of "Celtic Crosses" and if you want to track down "High Crosses" the site given by box is fantastic!!
