Located in the old white linen exchange it's the most central hotel in the city.
The bar is very popular at weekends so may be noisey, Parking is onstreet so it's cat and mouse with the wardens. For a good hotel with free parking try Tara Lodge.
We stayed in The Park Inn-great location and good hotel.
Agree with Bobby W that Tara Lodge is a very good option with a car - not as central as others but still within easy walking distance of the City Hall etc. I have stayed in it twice and think it is great value for money.
The Fitzwilliam or Malmaison are other boutique options. I haven't stayed at either but one of the regulars on here - Little Pumpkin has stayed at the Fitzwilliam couple of times and would recommend it.
Family members stayed at the Hilton recently and got a great deal and really enjoyed it. I stayed a few years ago and thought it was ok, nothing special but it is getting good reviews at the moment.
I haven't stayed at Ten Square (great location and looks very nice) - and agree it might depend on the night of the week - and of whether or not you were going to be enjoying the bar downstairs (or elsewhere) or were wanting a quiet night!!
thanks for that Bobby W
Thanks Kirsty
Yes Tara Lodge seems to be an option Ponaire
