There are a few in belfast that i know off...not too far from city centre.

L'etoile is a french restaurant on the Ormeau road which is meant to be really good.

There is Grafiti also on the Ormeau road.

There is Sole Seafood, Rhubarb and Drennans.

I have never been to any of the above but heard they were all good.

Two I have been to are Cafe Renoir on Botanic and Legends on the Lisburn Road. I love them both.

However Cafe renoir only allowed wine teh last time I remember so you cant bring any beer.

Rhubarb is meant to be good. You could also try Allotment on Upper Queen Street, although do check its opening hours.

Tao noodle house on the Dublin Road isn't too bad and fairly resonably priced

there is a new pop up restaurant called HOME on Callender St. It is run by staff from Mourne seafood bar. It is excellent and is BYO. They have a website and I think it will remain open until March 2012
