You would be better using a neutral taxi company or an independant.

As being dropped of near Sandy Row at Benidicks in a "Republicain" Gransha Taxi could prove to be a bad move!!!.

Your best bet is a good independant or to try www.valuecabs.co.uk or www.fonacab.co.uk .

They are neutral in Belfast AND SERVICE BOTH SIDES of the divide.

I hope this helps you out, and i hope you enjoy your stay.

Cheers

Way to scare the visitors. Personally I've never seen anyone so much as looked at askance because of the taxi they rock up in. That said I'm a great believer in Value Cabs over local firms if only because they're the only firm that has never left me stranded.

Yeah the 300 Airport Bus is actually the most straight-forward way to get into town but I know some people prefer just getting a taxi straight to their hotel. If you DO decide to go for the bus, it will drop you off at the Europa Bus Station on Great Victoria Street and then it's a straight walk up Great Victoria Street/Shaftesbury Square/Bradbury Place (all the one road - they just run on to each other). Google Maps estimates 10 minutes but I'd be surprised if it took much more than 5.

Rodney, do you happen to work for either Value Cabs or Fonacab by any chance?

(can't we just ban all taxi drivers from the forum and be done with it? :-) )
