 'Good' Coffee shops in belfast

Can anyone suggest a shoop that sells a good selection of fresh coffee beans? Ideally, in the city center.

I dont recall coming across anywhere.

thanks everyone

Unfortunately Belfast isn't really known for its coffee. Starbucks (which is just meh for its selection of beans) and SD Bells are the only ones I can think of too alas. SD Bells isn't really that awkward to get to if you have your heart set on the idea though - just get the 4a metro bus from Donegall Square West (to the right of the City Hall) and it will drop you off practically outside it - you can ask the driver for a heads up if you're unsure about where to get off.

Thanks both, its not a necessity, but i do love my coffee, and enjoy trying out different ones when I can. If time allows we may take a trip up....its just the pubs ALWAYS seem to get in the way!! hey ho :)

SD Bell's have a stall at St George's Market on Friday and Saturday (and possibly Sunday?). Might be a bit handier for you.

Try Sawers at the back of the big Boots shop. Its a deli and they sell a range of speciality food. From the Fitzwilliam walk down to Wellington Place, then along Wellington Place towards the City Hall. There is a "The Streat" on the corner turn left down this street (Queen St) then turn right at the next street (you will see the back of the Boots Store in front of you). Sawers is on the left.
