Hi,
We're staying for a few days in Newquay next week and would like to go on a couple of walks for approx 4 miles. Nothing too strenuous or hilly..maybe nice coastal walks etc. Does anyone know any good ones or websites to look at??
Thanks

the most obvious one from Padstow is the Camel Trail. You could walk from Padstow to Wadebridge which is 5 miles but incredibly easy and then get the bus back.

Hi
The South West coast path is right there. See http://www.southwestcoastpath.com/index.cfm for details.
You can walk the coast path to Watergate Bay which is an easy one, and you can have a break and coffee when you get there. You can also walk across the estaury at low tide to Crantock. Or with a car, drive to Mawgan Porth just outside Newquay and walk to the Bedruthan Steps along the coast. There are miles of beautiful coast to explore.
I did a couple of great walks when I stayed near Padstow a couple of years ago. The first was to follow the Saints Way from Padstow to Little Petherick then, after crossing the small river, head back towards the coast where you pick up the Camel Trail back to the village.
Another day I followed the coast path round to Trevone, via Hawkers Bay and Stepper Point, then cut back along the lanes to Padstow.
Nothing too exhausting but some fantastic scenery.
