There is a thriving Asian community in and around the Easton area with specialist shops, mosque, temples etc. However that community is very diverse from Somali to Afghan, Iranian to Pakistani as well as Indian and Vietnamese. Bristol also has the largest number of Polish people in the UK and a very well established Afro Caribbean community.

Hi, I see your post name as 'Indian Community of Bristol' and thought you would be the best person to enquire. I am a dancer from Delhi. Want to start teaching Kathak here in Bristol as im studying here currently. Where could i post ads and who could I speak to regarding this?

First, contact the local community in Easton.

Second, try the Uni notice boards at Bristol and UWE.

Try advertising in Gumtree and Trade it...they are free

Finally, any communtity centre/sports centre near where you live
