Bristol Forum: Good Pub for New Years Eve in Bristol near Temple Meads

I can suggest several pubs but I'm not sure if they will be ticket only on New Years Eve. They're all worth a look though......

You could try the Reckless Engineer opposite Temple Meads station or the Seven Stars (nice little real ale pub) on Thomas Street which is off Victoria Street. It's next to the Fleece live music venue if you need to ask for directions.

Also off Victoria Street and around the back of Temple Meads fire station is the Cornubia, one of my favourite pubs in Bristol.

If you continue walking down Victoria Street and cross over the bridge, turn left down Welsh Back and 100 metres on the dockside is The Apple cider/scrumpy pub on a converted barge. Their website hasn't been updated so it doesn't say what they have planned for New Years Eve.

There's a couple of other pubs opposite the Apple on King Street worth checking out like the Old Duke, King William and Llandoger Trow.
