Thunder Bay forum My husband and I need to attend a wedding in Thunder Bay the weekend of the 21st of May. I'd be coming in from Raleigh, NC and he would be coming from NYC. We'd like to take part of Friday for scenic drive since neither of us have been to the area before. We also need to do this trip on a shoestring since our budget is tight. Does anyone have any suggestions for flights, car rentals, etc? Any help you could offer would be great.

Hi
Looks like Priceline has some pretty good flights so you might want to check them out and some even connect through New York so you can travel together for most of the trip. As far as sightseeing goes there are quite a few places you can go on Friday that are within a 1/2 to an hour drive outside of Thunder Bay (e.g. Eagle Canyon, Silver Islet, Kakabeka Falls, Fort William Historical Park etc.)
