Thunder Bay forum Hey there. Short notice, I'm sorry.
but I have to come through Tbay next week on my way to a funeral, and was wondering if anyone had any opinions/experiences with a particular car rental company at the airport.
We're considering Alamo, if that's helps.

Sorry to hear of your loss.
As you may have seen on www.tbairport.on.ca , there are several choices for airport car rental. I've used Enterprise there, no problem. Regardless of the company, just be sure to check mileage allowance. In the north, it can really add up. That's why I didn't select Avis there.
I think Alamo is a good choice.
Extra kilometer rates in Northwestern Ontario can be pretty high so as the previous poster said make sure you book with a company that gives you free kilometers. It looks like Alamo gives 1200 free kilometers? where others only give 400 so choose wisely.

yeah, alamo seems to give the most free milage, and we have to drive to Dryden. so it's quite a hike!
I'll post a review on my experience with alamo after I get back.
