I may have the opportunity in the next week to visit Thunder Bay for the first time, but I wont have a car any suggestions of things to do or see? Thanks

Hi
Unfortunately there is not a lot to do without a car. Fort William Historical Park goes on their winter schedule October 13th and runs a tour from 11:00am-2:00pm if you are interested in seeing the fur trading era etc. Thunder Bay Historical Museum is open Tuesday-Sunday 1:00 to 5:00pm.
You could always visit the world famous Hoito Restaurant for Finn Pancakes. You could do some shopping at Intercity Mall and theThunder Center. You can visit our Casino if you are inclined to try your luck. Most of Thunder Bay's attractions are accessible by car (Kakabeka Falls, Amethyst Mines, Terry Fox Monument, Eagle Canyon Adventures etc.) Unfortunately things are pretty limited by bus or taxi.
Forgot to mention that the weather has been pretty chilly lately and we just had our first snowfall!
Hi Jonathan2;
For an online 7 day forecast, have a look at Environment Canada's website.
