Pictou Forum: Customs House Inn, Pictou

They may have shut down. We used to go to a B&B in Annapolis Royal and they stopped listing. Found out they had retired.

Dear Angela, I live in Pictou and really can't tell you what the rooms are like at the Customs House Inn, but i do know the owners are very nice and i would believe they are very accomodating. Their is no dining room in it but there used to be a Pub in the lower level and I think they let their guests have use of their kithcen.You are down by the water but there is a wharf right there where sometimes there are big trucks hauling wood to large ships, so maybe be a little noisy at times.I think you may like it, but if it's quiet you're looking for, then maybe you might like to try The Pictou Lodge Resort.It may be a few bucks more,but you can't beat the atmosphere as it is right on the oceanfront and only about 8 minutes from town.

We stayed at the Customs House 8 years ago for our honeymoon, it was very nice - beautiful rooms and view. The pub below is great, old stone wall and nice atmosphere - very nice!!
