Hello, we are a couple in 30s planning a different Caribbean vacation 0 7 days than the usual Mexico, Cuba and this time we are going with our 6 months old baby. We will choose a not all-inclusive (AI) and eat separately. We would like to enjoy our accommodation and meals as last time in the Playa del Carmen AI we had a blast. We would like to have the best stretch of white sandy sugary beach and turquoise water and warm weather. We are thinking of going in end of March 2012; We would like to chill on the beach, meet friendly people, but we would also like to go around visit stores and local markets discover what it has and do attractions. Among the attractions we like to visit attractions, catamaran, things to see, but we don’t do aquatic water or land sports and we don’t drink booze. I don’t know much about the islands I am interested, but we are thinking of either: Barbados, out islands of Bahamas (Exhuma, Eleuthra, Harbour Island), Turks and Caicos (Provo, grace bay), or Cayman island. Can you experts who have been to these places tell me:
-Which one of these islands is more likely to meet our needs in what we are looking for in 7 days?
- Will we be able to find non-AI hotel/resorts with meal plans only without breaking the bank? Then we can dine out for choices. And Will we have to rent a car to go for meals?
Thanks,
Zam
