Castries Forum: Must-Do Restaurants at La Toc and Grande

At La Toc, I would definitely go to La Toc Restaurant....a great meal in a white-glove atmosphere. If you've never dined at a Kimonos at Sandals you might enjoy the experience of having your meal cooked at the table which you share with a few other couples.

At the Grande, Toscanini's just changed their menu a week ago. We ate there both before and after the change and really enjoyed the new menu. We also like the pub at the Grande...a casual place to go for cold beer and good pub food. Depending on your budget (complimentary for butler guests), Gordons had top class service and great food both times we ate there.

We like Tocanini's at the Grande. But we also liked Mario's at Halcyon where you will be.

I would say La Toc at the La Toc, and Barefoot at the Grande. There's not much point doing Toscanini's since you have Mario's at the Halcyon anyway.

If you're only there for 1 week then I would make it 2 dinners at La Toc instead, La Toc and Kimono's. To be honest I didn't see much point visiting the Grande for dinner from the Halcyon, when you've got Mario's and the Pier on your doorstep. Definitely visit in the day to do Pigeon Island, though.

we ate at Toscanini's on Monday night and at the Pier last night. Both very good!

I agree that La Toc was my fav at La Toc and Tocanini's was really yummy at The Grande.
