I've seen January roll call and March roll call but no February roll call. We will be arriving at Sandals Grande on 2/4 and leaving on 2/11. Are we the only ones there?...Lol

arriving sandals grand st lucian feb.4 -18th,,
25 days ... we r so excited.!!!
we just heard that we have been bumped from sandals grand to la toc............... we r so disapoointed... to say the least.. we booked and paid in september of 2011 and we just got bumped.. i dont know if we will get to st lucia after all
Yikes! Sorry to hear that! Are you at least being upgraded for the disruption?
I'll keep my fingers crossed it doesn't happen to us - our friends arrive two days before us, so..........
And what about your airfare?
I would be very upset if that happened to us.
they gave us 2 weeks at la toc instead of the grand(its our anniversary , and we booked and paid in full in september) the gave us a 1 bedroom with a private pool but we really want the grand thats why we booked so far in advance.. i am just heart broken
My advice is to insist on staying at the Grande - they may be able to move someone else and compensate them accordingly - you obviously did some research and decided which hotel was right for you. Was it for a special occasion - that might help - and the fact that you booked in September.
Do you have a travel agent? If so, ask him/her to get involved. If not, as suggested, I would try to calling back and speak to a supervisor. Good luck!
they travel agent is the one who told us what sandals did.. we are so heart broken... we really wanted sandals grand
Have you contacted Sandals direct?
I would email them or phone them.
Don't mean to beat a dead horse, but your travel agent should be fighting for you to keep you at the Grande. I would be on him/her about insisting that you be accommodated. He/she shouldn't just accept that.
And at the very least, BIG upgrades and extras (like spa credits, etc.) should be requested. And yes, I agree wth Josiem - I would be on the phone with a supervisor. Don't waste time on email - make the phone call!
