Hello Caroline, not sure what bus ride you are talking about?? The bus ride from the airport to the resort is about 2 hours. And the bus ride to excursions is very different and depends where and what excursion you go to. We took a tour when we were there (not sure what is was called) but it involved the cigar factory,boat ride and then to a small island!! there is definitley alot of walking. Check with your travel agent. Hope this helped out.

Do you know what transportation you would take from Santo Domingo and what it would cost? I am booked in Boca Chica at Be Live and not feeling good about it.
