Need help in deciding where to stay in the Colonial zone. We are looking for a good inexpensive hotel that is close to all restaurants, bars,etc. We will be staying 2 nights at the end of our trip. We usually stay in the Malecon area, but I thought that this time, we should try something different.

I stayed at the Foreigners Club Hotel last week. I posted a review for it.

Hotel Hacienda is the best there is at USD $32. Rooms are like apartment style, which includes cold & hot water shower, AC, TV and kitchentte.the hotet is in the Colonial Zone, 2 minutes walk from Calle El Conde, which the heart of the zone.
