We had no problems with our room. There was a water problem for others which was fixed promptly. The plumbing fixtures( taps) are a bit tired, but I find the wooden cathedral ceilings attractive and everything worked, fan etc.

The noisy wall style air conditioners remain and for the life of me I can't understand why people need to run them while they aren't in the room. A waste of energy and noisy for neighbours who want to sit on their decks.

We found by keeping our curtains drawn through the day , we really only used the fan at night, never air conditioner.

Plenty of white and red wine. The pool didn't seem to be leaking as we were bumped last year I can't comment on anything else from last year.

Ramon sent out a note in early January to some of the repeaters that work had actually started on the roads. I am going next week - sooooo we will see!

I just received some news from guests who arrived home last thursday, they said the road improvements were happening all the way to Sevilla at this point in time and it only took an 1 or 1.5 hours to get to the airport. It's a start - I guess the cuban minister of transporatation actually had to see the roads to believe how bad they were - but the repairs have started! yeah. I will be there on Thursday so should be able to load some pics when I am back!!
