Saint James forum im wanting to get married in barbados in feb 2013, and have roughly sixty guests coming with us. We are looking for an all inclusive , west side of the insland, and no more then $2000.00 per person. The resort must also be children friendly , with a childrens program...awayyy from the adult only pools. Can someone please recomnd ? we were thinking almond clubs, but am unsettled about the reviews !

Almond Beach Club doesn't accept children under 16.
I'd recommend the Almond Beach Village or the Crystal Cove for your wedding. Both children friendly with kids clubs, ABV is much larger and has a much better beach. The rooms at Crystal Cove are nicer.

Although ABV has the better beach and Kids Club, I think Crystal Cove would be much better overall. However, ABV would also be cheaper so it may depend on your budget and the rates available at that time.

ahhh, i loved crystal cove and the price is fine for us, but we need to keep it under 2,000 per person (including flight) as we have so many people coming with us. thank you so very much though!

You're welcome. Is it way over £2,000? Perhaps if you book the flights during a sale it may fit. BA always has a world sale in July and another in December with tickets around £499 tax inclusive.

Plus you might want to PM the original posters. That way they get an e mail from TA telling them they have a message and they can answer you directly or even post something for you. Sometimes people don't always read TA for a while after posting.

im actually going there in two weeks to check out the island(as i wont have 60 ppl come to a wedding spot that ive never been to) im staying at one of the almond clubs , so will post everything i love(hopefully..ill just love it all)
i have yes:) the airline will give me one trip free for every 21 people i have coming. which means my hubbie and i should both have that grace!! I still havent ruled crystal cove out, and will check it out while im there
