Next month I will be flying on Jet Airways (Sharjah - Delhi - Kathmandu - Delhi - Dubai) after getting to Dubai from Toronto via Emirates.
I booked the JA flights through Expedia and have had nothing but problems with them so far. They have changed my flight plans 3 times now, the most recent of which was when they moved my first flight from Dubai to Sharjah...
On top of this, their staff has proven to be incompetent when dealing with issues, as the last change resulted in a problem with my online booking that I couldn't access. It took 3 phone calls and numerous emails to get anything from them, and all they would send in response was a screenshot of my booking, which they could access! When I cannot access my booking, and all I want is to print my eTicket and select my seats, what good does this do?
5 days after I had notified them of the problem and they sent me the screenshot, they finally fixed my booking, but eliminated my previously selected seats. Now I will not be seated with the other person that I am travelling with. Their website is also probably the most unstable site that I have ever witnessed.
I understand the difficulties with language barriers, but when contacting them, it goes nowhere as it seems that they not only do not understand what I am trying to ask, but also do not give a s***.
Has anybody else had these kind of problems with them? Should I expect any improvement once I go to take the flights? As it's my first time in that part of the world, I would prefer to avoid as many issues that I can, but it doesn't look too promising...
