"Best place I've stayed at in Philippines! (after traveling here for a month!)
The staff are lovely, super friendly and helpful!!
There are two different menu's, one for the restaurant and a cheaper one for everyone that stays at the hostel which makes you feel extra welcome and a bit special. The..." food is cheap and great!
They have a kitchen where you can cook your own food and still sit in the restaurant part and eat with everyone else.
The beach front is beautiful so it's easy to just spend days at jj's. The sunset is incredible from here too.
I highly recommend to stay here if you can. And if it's booked a trip to the restaurant is totally worth it!

"I totally share the positive comments of my fellow travellers this is a great place for the backpackers +. They allow us to enjoy the amazing beach for a backpackers price; they offer tents, dorms or a room. They allow you to bring and prepare your own food and even offer to notify you when the fish..." or fruit delivery is there so you can pick your own. I find it only fair that they ask a fee for hot water and refill for your bottle as they have to make a living too.
They are in the process of building 2 rooms which sleeps up to 4 with shared bathrooms and an outdoor kitchen. Honestly what else does a backpacker need on this paradise with these views. The staff is lovely and know your name so you really feel at home. Both JJ's are amazing people who decided to leave Australia and have a life on Siquijor with their son and JJ's family. I do hope I am able to come back to the Philippines as this place would be in my top 3 to visit for at least a week.
Good luck with the building work and...
