  " Following a recommendation from a half wit receptionist we decided to try the Hospiz Alm. We had been advised that the food was both wholesome and reasonably priced which sounded ideal. You can imagine our surprise when we were confronted with the first page of the menu where you could get a set m..."eal for two people for €105. We had a quick flick through the menu (soup €10, starter €26, mains €33). To be fair the service was very good and it was a nice treat to receive a free appetiser (warm pea soup and meatball) and my main (pig meets scallop) was very tasty but too small a portion for me. My friends opted for a sharing duck meal which consisted of two courses of duck. Whilst the duck was cooked well the two courses were very similar and pointless (duck with vegetables x2). We checked out the desert menu (€14 for a carrot cake) but passed on it as well as wine and schnapps.
