"I had eaten once at the original location and several times at Veritas and Green Spot from the mobile oven, so I was already a fan.
But I love the new location just south of the spillway. We ate in the inviting patio, sharing a long table with another couple.
Start with a great beer selecti..."on, including several offerings from our burgeoning local brewers, because pizza and beer is good even if it's Budweiser Light at Pizza Inn.
We shared an order of burrata: mozzarella soaked with cream, sea salt, and arugula (or spinach??) with crostini. Rich, unusual and delicious.

Even though it sounds as if we had a few complaints about some of the food, it was minor. Overall, the experience was VERY good and our waitress was friendly, but seemed overworked.

"We went here while at the Perot Museum just to get away from the noise of the school groups. The service is friendly and quick. We had the bean and cheese nachos with a cup of queso. Iron cactus has better queso but El Fenix has really tasty chips."
