  "Stopped in here for a light lunch early Sunday afternoon with our out of town guests. Was greeted right away and had our choice of booth or table. Our server was very pleasant and patient with us. The place was not busy when we arrived. Tables were clean and overall a nice clean atmosphere (includin..."g restrooms). Just ordered appetizers and a drinks. The beer was ice cold and our orders came out exactly as described as ordered and printed in the menu. Our sever was attentive yet not intrusive allowing us a nice, relaxing meal. One nice menu item was the sampler, you can choose 4 items and get 3 of each item ordered. Actually was more food than we expected! I would recommend The Dugout in Hendersonville for anyone. The menu has a good supply of sports bar fare at reasonable prices. Outdoor dining on the sidewalk is also available. " More >

  "This is a great place with fresh bread and cold cuts. I had a great pastrami sub and was pleasantly surprised at the tender and very flavorful pastrami and I am from New York City. It was not NYC but it was good."
