  "Lovely place, and was greeted at the door with warm welcome smile. We were a party of 6 adults and 2 children with no reservation, and they were able to accommodate us in less than 5 minutes! Service received from everyone was great...but the food was a bit disappointing...first and foremost, in m..."y opinion, for the price we were paying i expected a bit more on my plate; for example, i ordered the chef's special omelette; it came on a large white plate, the omelette was rolled up (so looked even smaller) and a very small fruit bowl that looks like the fruits (cantaloupe, pineapple, and water dew melon) came from a can… this cost 13$...no coffee included. I ordered coffee on the side and that was another 3$. Second of all, we had 2 children, (4 and 2 years old)…and no child-menu.   "We visit Saratoga Springs several times a year and like many, are creatures of habit/comfort. We have our 3-5 favorite haunts which we tend to rotate depending on our length of stay. We decided to branch out and on a strong recommendation try something new and different. We stopped in the day befor..."e to make sure things were made to order and could accommodate my allergies. We were assured yes so made reservations for the following evening. We were seated almost immediately and loved the decor. The restaurant was fairly quiet after a very hectic crowded weekend in Saratoga. I picked out a few things that looked interesting to me and ran them by our wait staff. She was terrific - making several trips back to the chef with various questions. Sadly, there were only a few things that he was willing to make for me. The grilled prawns and Spanish omelet were delicious but I was salivating with the five dishes my husband and daughter shared and then enjoyed as left overs the next day!! ... " More >

  "Make reservations -- this restaurant is tiny! Interestingly, you don't feel in everyone else's conversation. It got very lively the night we were there, really happy vibe and energy. The food is northern Italian but with a very local twist. Fresh ingredients, locally sourced, nicely prepared, an..."d as other say, the chef pays attention to each dish. Although I had the scallops (delicious!), the pastas look so inviting I plan to return. The wine list is quite good (including some sparkling wines). I suspect that during the summer, it will be extremely difficult to get in. It's a charming place with a top-notch menu and a seriously foodie appeal.
