  "First of all the decoration is very nice and the atmosphere is very cosy. The waiters are friendly but the service is a little bit late. Regarding the cousine; the steak menu is very good, the portions are big. Strongly recommend if you want to eat nice steak."

  "Dinner for 8 and we were sat in private room off to side. Lovely. Menu-there are two versions, they gave updated but not got rid if old ones so we were ordering and they kept telling us no to items. Went to order wine, everything I picked they did not have, only expensive stuff left, like 200gbp bot..."tle (didn't order any). And this was a Saturday night. No tap beer only bottle, although also on menu. Waitress was lovely. We had to ask for butter several times and cloth napkins taken away when we sat Down and given paper. Wine came, not cold. No parking near either. Total bill for 8 was 650gbp! Def expensive side, not sure compared to other places if it was worth it. For what you pay much better places else where, and they actually have whats on their menu! " More >

  "I just went back to Mad Murphys accidently as I am sick an tired about Shakespeare Pub ( still no live music, the menue didnt improved and smoking is banned there now as well ) and I must say the new management put great efforts in to make this place as it was 6 years ago. The staff speaks propper ..."English and some of them German. They painted the place back to what it was some years ago, which makes the place more light. Beer prices are OK ( bit expensive but OK with a discount of 10% ). They also working on cleaning up the terrace and teh garden, so hopefully this place again will be filled up with people. Especially in the summer the terrace is nice and its good to sit in the garden and hear some life music instead sitting in a dark brown coffin like in Shakespeare Pub. " More >
